D. Remove the Hold-open Rod of the Blocker Door (HIX3002)
(1) Remove the knurled bolts from the blocker door and the lock-out fitting.
(2) Manually bring the blocker door CAUTION : BLOCKER DOOR LATCH MUST BE OPENED WHEN YOU CLOSE THE

BLOCKER DOOR OR DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
(a) Move the blocker doors to the closed position manually (Ref. TASK 78-32-41-860-002).
(3) Install the lock-out fairing and the screw on the blocker door.
(4) TORQUE the screw to between 15 and 17 lbf.in (0.16 and 0.19 m.daN). Subtask 78-31-41-420-057
E. Connect Hoses on the Hydraulic Actuator
(1) Lubricate rod and head supply hoses with hydraulic fluid NSA-307-110 type 4 (Material No. CP2212) as lubricant.
(2) Installation of the rod and head supply hoses. CAUTION : USE 2 WRENCHES TO REMOVE OR INSTALL THE TUBE COUPLING NUTS.
_______ ONE WRENCH TO HOLD THE UNION AND ONE TO LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE COUPLING NUT. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE HARDWARE.
CAUTION : WHEN POSITIONING THE HOSES, TAKE CARE THERE IS NO
_______ INTERFERENCE BETWEEN THE HOSES AND OTHER PARTS OF THE HALF DOOR.
(a) Install the rod and head supply hoses on the hydraulic actuator nipples.
(3) TORQUE the rod nuts to between 130 and 150 lbf.in (1.46 and 1.69 m.daN).
(4) TORQUE the head nuts to between 235 and 260 lbf.in (2.65 and 2.93 m.daN).

F. Close Access
(1) Close half door without making thrust reverser serviceable (Ref. TASK 78-36-00-410-040): FOR 1000EM1 451AL, 452AR FOR 1000EM2 461AL, 462AR
(2) For the lower blocker door, install the clevis access door as follows: FOR 1000EM1 451AL, 452AR FOR 1000EM2 461AL, 462AR
(a) Install the three screws to attach the access door.
(b) TORQUE the screws from to between 35 and 44 lbf.in (0.39 and 0.49 m.daN).
(3) For the upper blocker door, install the clevis access door as follows:
(a) Install the eight screws to attach access door.
NOTE : Check the location for the three longer screws.

(b) TORQUE the screws to between 35 and 44 lbf.in (0.39 and 0.49 m.daN).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

(1) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-410-040):
FOR 1000EM1
437AL, 438AR
FOR 1000EM2
447AL, 448AR
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the warning notice(s). Subtask 78-31-41-710-050
C. Bleed the air from the thrust reverser hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 78-30-00-710-040).
