R (a) Clean and dry the pressure switch with acetone (Material No. R CP1039) or stoddard solvent (Material No. CP2011) or ardrox 552 R (Material No. CP2559) or turco ind 79 (Material No. CP2560) or R mag-chem teksol (Material No. CP2566) or degreasol 99 R (Material R No. CP2584) or mag-chem skysol (Material No. CP2656) or isopropyl R alcohol (Material No. CP1041) and dry compressed air.
(3) Lubricate the new preformed packing (10) with thrust reverser hydraulic fluid.
(4) Install the preformed packing (10) and a new backup ring (20) on the pressure switch.
(5) Install the pressure switch : CAUTION : MAKE SURE THERE IS NO UNWANTED MATERIAL IN THE PORTS AND

ORIFICES OR DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
(a) Put the pressure switch on the HCU.
(6) Apply mastinox 6856H (Material No. CP2317) on the three bolts.
(7) attach the pressure switch with the bolts.
(8) TORQUE the bolts to between 13 and 17 lbf.in (0.14 and 0.19 m.daN)
(9) Safety the bolts with lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia (Material No. CP8001) or lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia (Material No. CP8002).
(10) Apply sealant, polysulfide, fillet consistency (Material No. CP2428) around the mating joint of the HCU and the pressure switch and on the bolt heads.
(11) Connect the pylon electrical harness to the pressure switch .
(12) Tighten the connector with the softnose pliers.

B. Pressurization of the Hydraulic Reservoirs
(1) For engine 1 pressurize the Green hydraulic reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) For engine 2 pressurize the Yellow hydraulic reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).

(2) Close the fan cowl doors: (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-410-040)
