(9) Installation of the Thermal Blankets on the Blocker Door Latch (Ref. Fig. 404/TASK 78-31-19-991-305)
(a) Put the thermal blanket (35) in place on the blocker door latch (15).
(b) Put the thermal blanket (30) in place on the other side of the blocker door latch (15).
(c) Wind the strap on blanket (30) around the blanket (35).
(d) Make sure the two thermal blankets (30) and (35) fully touch the blocker door latch (15).

(e) Tie the two blankets (30) and (35) together using lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia (Material No. CP8001) or lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia (Material No. CP8002).
(f) Put the thermal blanket (40) on the blocker door latch (15). It should cover the blankets (30) and (35).
(g) Turn the Dzus fastener on the blanket (40) 1/4 turn to lock it.
5. Close-up

A. Remove the safety sleeve (HIX3005) from the blocker door actuator
(Ref. TASK 78-32-41-080-001).

(1) Manually move the blocker doors to the closed position (Ref. TASK 78-32-41-860-002).

D. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. TASK 71-13-00-410-040):

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the warning notice(s).
