If a new fixed fairing (1) is necessary, remove the hinge 1A extension fairing (2) (Ref. TASK 57-55-11-000-006).

Remove the screws (20) and remove the cover plates (21).
(3)
Hold the head of the screw (22) and remove the nut (10) to release the bonding strap (9) from the fixed fairing (1).
(4)
Remove and discard the cotter pins (5).
(5)
Remove the nuts (4) and the washers (6) from the bolts (8).

At the position C:
(a)
Remove and discard the cotter pin (13).
(b)
Remove the nut (14) and the washer (15).
