A. Removal of the Wing Safety Rope
(1)
Pull the handle of the latching ratchet (4) to release the tension of the SAFETY ROPE - WING (98D57004022000).
(2)
Remove and retain the bolts (9) and the washers (10) which attach the bracket (11) on the wing tip joint.
(3)
Remove the aircraft screws from the bracket (11).
(4)
Install the aircraft screws in the wing tip joint.
(5)
Stow the bolts (9) and the washers (10) on the bracket (11).
(6)
Remove the anchor shackle (2) from the hoisting lug (1).
(7)
Remove the hoisting lug (1) from the fuselage.
(8)
Install the hoisting lug (1) on the shackle (2).
(9)
Remove the SAFETY ROPE - WING (98D57004022000) from the wing.
(10) Install the plastic plug, retained at installation, on the fuselage.

Install a new self adhesive patch (1) on the fuselage at the hoisting
lug location

If necessary, paint the self adhesive patch to the same color as the adjacent area (Ref. TASK 51-75-12-300-003).

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.

Remove the access platform(s).

Remove the warning notice(s).
(3)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
