R C. Installation of the Equipment (Ref. SIL 12-007)
R (1) Install the sliding window adapter.
R (Ref. Fig. 301/TASK 12-21-12-991-008)
R (a) Put the LOCALLY MANUFACTURED - ADAPTER (1) in position in the
R cockpit window frame and attach it with the screws and the wing
R nuts.
R (b) Put the HOSE - RUBBER, min. dia 150 mm (6.0 in.), (2) through the
R opening in the center service channel.
R (c) Put the upper end of the hose (2) in the highest position in the
R fuselage and attach it with cable ties.
R (d) Connect the lower end of the hose (2) to the window adapter.
R (2) Install the air-outflow valve-adapter.
R (Ref. Fig. 302/TASK 12-21-12-991-002)
R (a) Put the LOCALLY MANUFACTURED - ADAPTER (1) in position on the
R outflow valve 10HL and attach it with the hooks and the wing
R nuts.
R (b) Connect the SUPPLY LINE - GAS, PRESSURIZED of the DISINFECTANTS
R (Material No. 14-009) CHARGING EQUIPMENT - GAS, STANDARD to the
R adapter (1).

R D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
R (1) Make sure that the attitude of the aircraft is level or nose-up
R (Ref. TASK 08-21-00-200-001).
R (2) Close the passenger/crew door(s) (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
R (3) Close the forward and aft cargo-compartment doors (Ref. TASK 52-30-
R 00-860-002).
R (4) Make sure that the avionics compartment access doors are closed
R (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
R (5) If a bulk cargo-compartment door is installed, make sure it is closed
R (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-008).

R - Waste-water drain masts (Ref. AMM 30-71-00)

A. Fumigation of the Aircraft
WARNING : DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS ._______

R WARNING : USE THE CORRECT BREATHING EQUIPMENT. THE GAS IS POISONOUS._______
WARNING : BEFORE YOU START THE FUMIGATION PROCEDURE, MAKE SURE THAT NO_______
PERSONS ARE IN THE AIRCRAFT.
THE FUMIGATION GAS CAN CAUSE DEATH.
R WARNING : DO NOT OPEN THE DOORS DURING THE PROCEDURE._______
R POISONOUS GAS IS IN THE AIRCRAFT.

R (1) Put a WARNING NOTICE in position at all doors to tell your personnel
R not to open them.
R (2) Operate the gas charging equipment to fill the pressurized area of
R the fuselage with DISINFECTANTS (Material No. 14-009)
R (carbon-dioxide).

R (a) Refer to the following table for the required quantity of CO2
R gas.
