R (1) Make sure that there is sufficient airflow around the aircraft.
R (2) Open the forward and aft cargo-compartment doors (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-
R 860-001).
R (3) Open all avionics compartment access-doors (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-
R 002).
R (4) If a bulk cargo-compartment door is installed, open it (Ref. TASK 52-
R 30-00-860-006).
R (5) Open all passenger/crew doors (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-010-001).

R (1) Disconnect the gas charging equipment from the air-outflow valve
R adapter (1).
R (2) Remove the outlet tube (2) and the adapters (1).
R (3) Remove the masking tape (Mat. No. 08-074) from the outlet of the:
R - Waste-water drain masts (Ref. AMM 30-71-00)
R and
R - All fuselage drain valves (Ref. TASK 53-00-00-991-001).

R (1) Do the ground air pre-conditioning for a minimum of 30 min to remove
R the remaining CO2 from all areas (Ref. TASK 12-33-21-618-001).
R (2) Do a check of the CO2 concentration.
R (a) Use a DETECTOR ACT8800 - GRAS and examine the aircraft for
R remaining CO2.
R (b) Make sure that there is less than 5% Vol. CO2 concentration 0.2 m
R (0.65 ft.) above the cabin floor level.

R A. Close Access
R (1) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and
R standard tools and all other items.
R (2) Remove the warning notice(s).
R (3) Install the filler-panels of the center service channel in the
R forward cabin utility area (Ref. TASK 25-25-11-400-001).
R (4) Close the cockpit sliding window 8DG2 (Ref. TASK 56-12-11-410-001).
R (5) Close all pressure sealed doors.
R (a) Wait 1 hour before you close all the doors.
R (b) Close the forward and aft cargo compartment doors (Ref. TASK 52-
R 30-00-860-002).
R (c) Close the avionics compartment access-doors (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-
R 410-002).
R (d) If a bulk cargo-compartment door is installed, close it
R (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-008).
R (e) Close the passenger/crew door(s) (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
R (6) If you did the task in a hangar with under floor areas:

R (a) Carefully open the sealed areas of the hangar and do a check for
R remaining CO2 concentration with a DETECTOR ACT8800 - GRAS.
R (b) Make sure that there is less than 5% Vol. CO2 concentration 0.2 m
R (0.65 ft.) above the floor of the under-floor areas of the
R hangar.
