Protection of the outlet duct of the APU oil cooler
-Put the COVER - OILCOOLER OUTLET, APU (98D10007513000) in position.

Installation of the Protection Devices on the fuselage
(a) Protection of the 2 total temperature sensors
-Put the COVER - SLIP-ON, TOTAL TEMPERATURE SENSOR (98A10001013000) in position.
(b) Protection of the 3 pitot probes - Put the COVER - SLIP-ON PITOT PROBE (98A10001005000) in position.
(c) Protection of the 3 angle-of-attack sensors - Put the COVER - SLIP-ON, ANGLE OF ATTACK SENSOR (98A10001500000) or COVER - SLIP-ON, AOA (98D10003003000) in position.
(d) Protection of the 6 static probes - Put the COVER-STATIC PROBE (98D10103500001) in position.
(3) Installation of the Protection Devices on the engines
(a) Protection of the engine air intakes - Put the COVER - INLET COWL ENGINE (98D10003002000) in position.
(b) Protection of the engine exhaust nozzles - Put the COVER - COMMON NOZZLE (RSE1132) in position.
(c) Protection of the thrust reverser opening - Put the HALF PLUG, RIGHT-THRUST REVERSER (HIX6002) and HALF PLUG, LEFT-THRUST REVERSER (HIX6003) in position.
R R R (4) Put adhesive tape on all remaining joints and openings where the cleaning products could fall and cause damage. Record the locations where you put adhesive tape.
R R (5) Put protective polyethylene film or equivalent on the tires and brakes.
(6) Remove all the ground support equipment near the aircraft.

R - GIVE THE CORRECT PROTECTION TO THE AIRCRAFT EQUIPMENT,
R - ARE EASY TO SEE FROM THE GROUND. MAKE AN ENTRY IN THE
R AIRCRAFT LOG BOOK OR ATTACH A TAG ON THE CAPTAIN SIDE STICK TO
R TELL THE CREW THAT PROTECTION COVERS/DEVICES ARE INSTALLED.
R (1) Installation of the Protection Devices on the APU area
R (a) Protection of the APU exhaust duct
R - Put the COVER - EXHAUST DUCT, APU (98D10007512000) in position.
R (b) Protection of the outlet duct of the APU oil cooler
