Apply the cleaning material with a spray gun in the landing gear wells, the internal surfaces of the landing gear doors, the flaps and the slats.
(2)
Use a brush or paintbrush on the area where it is difficult to get access.
(3)
Flushing of the landing gear components
(a)
Flush carefully with hot water at 65 deg.C (149.00 deg.F) maximum before the cleaning material becomes dry.
(b)
Remove manually all remaiming signs of grease and dirt with the cleaning material.
(c)
Quickly flush with hot water at 65 deg.C (149.00 deg.F) to remove all signs of cleaning material.
NOTE : Make sure that there is no foam in the structural

G. Removal of the protective equipment
(1)
Remove the COVER - EXHAUST DUCT, APU (98D10007512000) and the COVER -OILCOOLER OUTLET, APU (98D10007513000) from the APU area.
(2)
Remove the COVER - SLIP-ON, TOTAL TEMPERATURE SENSOR (98A10001013000) from the 2 total temperature sensors.
(3)
Remove the COVER - SLIP-ON PITOT PROBE (98A10001005000) from the 3 pitot probes.
(4)
Remove the COVER - SLIP-ON, ANGLE OF ATTACK SENSOR (98A10001500000) or COVER - SLIP-ON, AOA (98D10003003000) from the 3 angle-of-attack sensors.
(5)
Remove the COVER-STATIC PROBE (98D10103500001) from the 6 static probes.
(6)
Remove the COVER - INLET COWL ENGINE (98D10003002000), the COVER -COMMON NOZZLE (RSE1132), the HALF PLUG, RIGHT-THRUST REVERSER (HIX6002) and the HALF PLUG, LEFT-THRUST REVERSER (HIX6003) from the engines.
(7)
Remove the adhesive tape from all joints and openings (refer to locations recorded at installation).
(8)
Remove all the signs of adhesive tape with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) soaked in CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003).
(9)
Make sure that there is no more water or cleaning material on the door fittings.

R (HIX6002) and the HALF PLUG, LEFT-THRUST REVERSER (HIX6003) from the
R engines.

R (1) Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-027):
R R (a) On the unblemished painted surfaces and the composite components of the landing gear and the landing gear well,

(2) Lubricate the main landing gear (Ref. TASK 12-22-32-640-001).
(3) Lubricate the nose landing gear (Ref. TASK 12-22-32-640-002).
