systems, pressure-altitude reporting imnsponders and llight recorders.

406 MHz and 121.5 MHz, the addition of a predictive terrain hazard
warning function to the ground proximity warning system (GPWS),

CHAPTER 7. AEROPLANE COMMUNICATION
AND NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT
7.1 Communication equipment
7.1 .I An aeroplane to he operated in accordance with the
instrument flight rules or at night shall be provided with radio
communication equiprne,nt. Such equipment shall be capable
of conducting two-way communication with those aeronautical
stations and on those frequencies prescribed by the appropriate
authority.
Nore.- The requirements qf 7.1. I are considered fulfilled
if the ability to conduct the communications specfled therein
