Remove the front segment of the inlet cone:
(a)
Remove six bolts and washers that hold the front segment of the inlet cone to the rear segment.
(b)
Remove the front segment.

CAUTION: DO NOT LET THE INLET CONE FALL WHEN YOU RELEASE IT FROM THE
_______ COMPRESSOR HUB. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE INLET CONE.
CAUTION:_______DO NOT INSTALL THE PULLER INCORRECTLY. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE NUT PLATES AND THE INLET CONE IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE PULLER CORRECTLY.
(5)
Remove the rear segment of the inlet cone:
(a)
Remove 19 bolts and washers that hold the rear segment to the front LPC hub.
(b)
Install the puller to the nut plates of the inlet cone on the inner side and remove the rear segment (Fig. 402).

Mat - Protective, Rubber Manufacturer's Association, Grade SC43, neoprene sponge, 1 inch thick, 5 x 6 feet with warning streamers attached (three required)
