4. Fault Isolation

**ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-105,
A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS: ACARS (ISSUED BY: FM1):
- replace the FMGC-1 (1CA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the ACARS bus from the FMGC 1 (1CA1) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 22-86/01).
B. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS: ACARS (ISSUED BY: FM2):
- replace the FMGC-2 (1CA2) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the ACARS bus from the FMGC 2 (1CA2) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 22-86/01).
R **ON A/C 106-149, 151-199, 201-299, 301-399, 401-499,
A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS: ATSU (ISSUED BY: FM1):
- replace the FMGC-1 (1CA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
