1. On the center pedestal, on the each MCDU (1 and 2):
- turn the BRT knob to make the
light more or less bright
- push the RAD/NAV mode key. - the RAD/NAV page comes into view
respectively.
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the RAD/NAV page does not come into view:
- replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 1 (1RG1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 2 (1RG2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).
(a) If fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the NAV OPERATION DIS OUTPUT discretes (from the RMP 1 (1RG1) to the first terminal block and from the RMP 2 (1RG2) to the first terminal block) (Ref. ASM 22-85/04).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
5. Close-up
________
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

- if the screen stays blank, replace the MCDU-1 (3CA1), (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-400-002).
