 A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS: FAC1/P-B SW 12CC1: - open the circuit breaker 5CC1
 - remove the FAC-1 (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-000-002)

 - do a check of the impedance between the pins AB/13G and AB/2G of the FAC-1 rack connector.


 NOTE : The impedance must be lower than 10 Ohms.

 (1) If the impedance is correct:

 - replace the FAC-1 (1CC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-400-002)

 (2) If the impedance is not correct:


 - do a check of the wiring between: . the pin AB/13G of the FAC-1 (1CC1) and the pin A/D3 of the FLT CTL/FAC pushbutton switch (12CC1) . the pin A/D1 of the FLT CTL/FAC pushbutton switch (12CC1) and the pin AB/2G of the FAC-1 (1CC1).
 (a) If there is no continuity:

 - repair the above wiring.

 (b) If there is continuity:

 - replace the P/BSW - FLT CTL/FAC 1 (12CC1).

 - install the above removed FAC-1 (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-400-002).

 


 B. Do the test given in para. 3.

 3. Fault Confirmation

 A. Job Set-Up
 (1) Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
 (a) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

 (b) Pressurize the aircraft hydraulic systems (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-863-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-863-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-003).


 B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) closed:

 C. Test


 (1) Open the circuit breaker 5CC2 for more than 5 seconds.

 (2) After 10 seconds, close the circuit breaker 5CC2.

 (3) After 2 minutes, do the operational test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001) and read the result for the FAC 2.


 4. Fault Isolation

 A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS: FAC2/P-B SW 12CC2:
 - open the circuit breaker 5CC2

 - remove the FAC-2 (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-000-002)

 - do a check of the impedance between the pins AB/13G and AB/2G of the FAC-2 rack connector.


 NOTE : The impedance must be lower than 10 Ohms.

 - replace the FAC-2 (1CC2) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-400-002)

 (2) If the impedance is not correct:

 - repair the above wiring.

 (b) If there is continuity:

 - replace the P/BSW - FLT CTL/FAC 2 (12CC2).

 - install the above removed FAC-2 (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-400-002).
