A. Test
(1) Do the Ground Scanning of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-91-00-710-001).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS : MCDU 2:
- replace the MCDU-2 (3CA2), (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-400-002).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the MCDU TRANSMITTER bus from the MCDU 2 (3CA2) to the first terminal block, (Ref. ASM 22-86/04).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
Loss of the Reception of the MCDU 2 TRANSMITTER Bus by one FMGC

- FMGC-1 (1CA1)
- FMGC-2 (1CA2)
- wiring of the MCDU OWN IN bus (from the FMGC 1 (1CA1) to the first
terminal block)
- wiring of the MCDU IN OUT bus (from the FMGC 2 (1CA2) to the first
terminal block)

(1) Do the Ground Scanning of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-91-00-710-001).
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS: MCDU2 (ISSUED BY: FM1):
- replace the FMGC-1 (1CA1), (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the MCDU OWN IN bus (from the FMGC 1 (1CA1) to the first terminal block), (Ref. ASM 22-86/04).
B. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS: MCDU2 (ISSUED BY: FM2):
- replace the FMGC-2 (1CA2), (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the MCDU IN OUT bus (from the FMGC 2 (1CA2) to the first terminal block), (Ref. ASM 22-86/04).
C. Do the test given in Para. 3.

- wiring of the MCDU OPP FAIL discrete from the FMGC 2 (1CA2) to the first terminal block
