A. Test After the subsequent flight, make sure that the fault does not continue.
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the failure is confirmed on the PFD 1:
- do a check of the operational test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001).
(1) If the test gives a maintenance message:
- refer to the procedure related to this message.
(2) If the test gives no maintenance message:
- replace the ADIRU-1 (1FP1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- replace the FAC-1 (1CC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-400-002).

(b) If the fault continues:
- replace the SFCC-1 (21CV) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-34-400-001).
B. If the failure is confirmed on the PFD 2:
- do a check of the operational test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001).
(1) If the test gives a maintenance message:
- refer to the procedure related to this message.
(2) If the test gives no maintenance message:
- replace the ADIRU-2 (1FP2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- replace the FAC-2 (1CC2) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-400-002).
(b) If the fault continues:

1. Possible Causes

- wiring of the ELAC OWN bus from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 1 (2CE1)
- wiring of the ELAC OPP bus from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 2 (2CE2)
- wiring of the ELAC OWN HLTY MON discrete from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 1 (2CE1)
- wiring of the ELAC OWN HLTY COM discrete from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 2 (2CE2)

(1) Do the Ground Scanning of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-91-00-710-001).
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS: CHK FAC1-ELAC 1/2 WRG:
- do a check of the wiring of the ELAC OWN bus from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 1 (2CE1)
- do a check of the wiring of the ELAC OPP bus from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 2 (2CE2) (Ref. ASM 22-69/01).
(1) If there is no continuity:
- repair the above wiring.
(2) If there is continuity:
- do a check of the wiring of the ELAC OWN HLTY MON discrete from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 1 (2CE1)
- do a check of the wiring of the ELAC OWN HLTY COM discrete from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the ELAC 2 (2CE2)
