3. Fault Confirmation

A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001) and read the result for the FMGC 2.
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS: FMGC 2/FAC 2 (HLTY CKT):
- replace the FAC-2 (1CC2), (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-400-002).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the FAC HLTY MON OWN discrete (from the FAC 2 (1CC2) to the first terminal block), (Ref. ASM 22-65/01).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

Loss of the FAC 1 HLTY COM OPP Discrete Signal
1. Possible Causes

- FAC-1 (1CC1)

- wiring of the FAC HLTY COM OPP discrete (from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the first terminal block)

3. Fault Confirmation

A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001) and read the result for the FMGC 2.
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS: FMGC2/FAC1 (HLTY CKT):
- replace the FAC-1 (1CC1), (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-400-002).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the FAC HLTY COM OPP discrete (from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the first terminal block), (Ref. ASM 22-65/01).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

Loss of the FAC 2 HLTY COM OPP Discrete Signal
1. Possible Causes

(1) Do the operational test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001) and read the result for the FMGC 1.

Loss of the Reception of the FAC 1 GENERAL Bus by the FAC 2
1. Possible Causes

- FAC-2 (1CC2)

- wiring of the FAC OPP bus from the FAC 2 (1CC2) to the first terminal block

- wiring of the FAC OPP HLTY COM and FAC OPP HLTY MON discretes from the FAC 2 (1CC2) to the first terminal block
