4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS : CHK ADIRU 1/2/3 (ISSUED BY : FAC 1):
- replace the FAC-1 (1CC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-400-002).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the ADC SW and ATT SW discretes (from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the first terminal block) (Ref. ASM 22-68/01).

(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the ADC SW and ATT SW discretes (from the FAC 2 (1CC2) to the first terminal block) (Ref. ASM 22-68/01).
C. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS : CHK ADIRU 1/2/3 (ISSUED BY : FMGC 1):
- replace the FMGC-1 (1CA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the ADC 3 SW and ATT 3 SW discretes (from the FMGC 1 (1CA1) to the first terminal block) (Ref. ASM 22-85/04).
D. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS : CHK ADIRU 1/2/3 (ISSUED BY : FMGC 2):
- replace the FMGC-2 (1CA2) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-83-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the ADC SW and ATT SW discretes (from the FMGC 2 (1CA2) to the first terminal block) (Ref. ASM 22-85/04).
E. Do the test given in Para. 3.

- wiring of the 28VDC and GND FAC discretes (from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the FLT CTL/FAC 1 pushbutton switch (12CC1))
- RELAY-FAC1 ENGAGED (11CC1)
- wiring of the FAC ENGD COM and FAC ENGD MON discretes (from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the FAC 1 ENGAGED relay (11CC1))

(1) Do the operational tests of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001) and read the result for the FAC 1:
(a) with the FLT CTL/FAC1 pushbutton switch (12CC1) released.
(b) with the FLT CTL/FAC1 pushbutton switch (12CC1) pushed.

A. If only the first test gives the maintenance message AFS: FAC1/P-B SW 12CC1:
- replace the FAC-1 (1CC1), (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-66-34-400-002).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the FAC ENGD SW COM and FAC ENGD SW MON discretes (from the FAC 1 (1CC1) to the FLT CTL/FAC 1 pushbutton switch (12CC1)), (Ref. ASM 22-65/01).
