(1) Measure the lateral gaps "A" thru "D" between the cargo door and the fuselage. NOTE : The gap "C" is between the door fairing and the belly fairing.____ (2) If these gaps are larger or smaller than permitted, remove the end fitting from the piano hinge area (Ref. TASK 52-32-11-000-001). (3) Change the thickness of the adjustment washers between the two piano hinge halves of FR57A and FR57. (4) Make sure that the lateral gaps "A" thru "D" are correct. Make sure that the stop bolts (13) do not touch the stop fittings
(14) (Ref. TASK 52-32-31-000-001).
(2)
Make sure that the latching hooks (3) at FR53 and FR55A touch the rear of the rollers (4).
(3)
Measure the skin offset "H" thru "N" between the external contour of the cargo door and the fuselage contour:
-the skin offset "H" and "J" must be between 0.9 mm (0.0354 in.) and -3.1 mm (-0.1220 in.).
NOTE : A deviation of 1.2 mm (0.0472 in.) in an area of +/- 150 mm
____ (5.9055 in.) from the measurement point is permitted.

the skin offset "K" and "L" must be between -1.5 mm (-0.0590 in.) and -4.5 mm (-0.1771 in.).
-
the skin offset "M" and "N" must be between -0.1 mm (-0.0039 in.) and -3.1 mm (-0.1220 in.).
(4) Adjust the skin offset "M" and "N" as follows:
NOTE : The other skin offsets are related to the limits of the skin

offsets "M" and "N".
R (a) Remove the nuts (9) and the washers (8) from the special bolt R (11).
(b)
Remove the serrated plates (2),(10) from the adjusting bush (5) and the eccentric bolt (1).
(c)
Turn the adjusting bush (5) and the eccentric bolt (1) until all skin offsets are correct.
(d)
Install the serrated plates (2),(10) at the eccentric bolt (1) and the adjusting bush (5).
-Make sure that the serrated plates are correctly installed (Ref. TASK 52-32-32-400-001).

Attach the serrated plates (2),(10) with the washers (8) and the nuts (9) to the door frame fitting (12).
(f)
TORQUE the nuts (9) to between 0.3 and 0.4 m.daN (26.54 and 35.39 lbf.in).
(5) Make sure that the clearances between the stop fittings (14) and the heads of the stop bolts (13) are between 0.1 mm (0.0039 in.) and 0.5 mm (0.0196 in.) (Ref. TASK 52-32-31-400-001).
