B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the replacement emergency exit door (referred to as door) is in the subsequent condition:
-
the inboard handle is in the unlocked position,
-
the outboard handle is aligned with the door contour,
-
the slide release lever is in the disarmed position.
(2)
Make sure that the special precautions for the door damper and emergency operation cylinder are completed (Ref. TASK 52-22-00-860-003).
4. Procedure

Subtask 52-22-11-910-050
A. Preparation for the Replacement Components
(1)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Apply COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-004) to all movable parts
(4)
Attach the SLING - PASSENGER DOOR (98A52108004001) as follows: (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 52-22-11-991-001)
(a) Attach the sling (5) to the crane, minimum capacity 90 kg (198.4 lb.), and put it in position at the door.

(b)
If necessary, remove and discard the self-adhesive patches (1) from the plastic plugs (2) of the replacement door.
