R (3) Flush the area with water with a maximum temperature of 50 deg.C
R (122.00 deg.F). Use a CLEANING EQUIPMENT - HIGH PRESSURE to do this,
R as follows:
R (a) Hold the spray gun of the CLEANING EQUIPMENT - HIGH PRESSURE with
R an angle of 30 to 45 degrees to the surface.
R (b) Make sure that the distance between the nozzle of the CLEANING
R EQUIPMENT - HIGH PRESSURE and the surface is more than 250 mm
R (9.8425 in.).
R (c) Do not apply more than 80 bar (1160.3016 psi) water pressure to
R the structure.
R (d) Do not apply more than 2 bar (29.0075 psi) water pressure to the
R composite materials.
R (4) Dry the area with a HOT AIR BLOWER OPERATING 40 DEG C (100 DEG F).
R (5) If necessary repair the corroded areas (Ref. TASK 51-74-11-300-001).
R (6) If necessary repair the damaged paint on aluminum and/or composite
R materials (Ref. TASK 51-75-12-300-001) and (Ref. TASK 51-75-12-300-
R 003).
R (7) Apply the new corrosion preventive compound as necessary (Ref. ASRM
R 51-23-12-001).

R (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other

R (2) Install all the components that were removed for the removal of the
R corrosion preventive compound.
