Get access to the area of the leakage.
(2)
Remove components from the area you will clean to prevent contamination from water and/or cleaning agents.
NOTE : Make sure that all electrical outlets are covered to protect

4. Procedure

A. Cleaning Procedure
(1)
Remove the hydraulic fluid with a lint-free cloth. WARNING : OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU USE THE

SPECIAL MATERIAL.
THIS MATERIAL IS DANGEROUS.
(2)
Clean the area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) and a lint-free cloth.
(3)
Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-038) to the area, let it stay on the area for 30 minutes.
NOTE : The Met-L-chek developer will stay wet if there is unwanted
____
hydraulic fluid.
(4)
If necessary, repeat the procedure until the unwanted hydraulic fluid is removed.
(5)
Clean the area with the CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-001) and a lint-free cloth.
(6)
Flush the area with clean water.
(7)
Dry the area with a hot air dryer.
(8)
If necessary, repair corrosion damage (Ref. TASK 51-74-11-300-001).
(9)
If necessary, repair the paint layers (Ref. TASK 51-75-12-300-003).
(10)
If necessary, repair the filler seals (Ref. TASK 51-76-11-300-001).
(11)
If necessary, apply a layer of SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-027) to the area (Ref. TASK 51-75-13-916-001).
(12)
If necessary, apply a layer of SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-005) to the area (Ref. TASK 51-75-13-916-002).
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1)
Install all the components that were removed for the cleaning task.
(2)
Remove the safety clip(s) and tag(s) and close the circuit breaker(s) of all the electrical components and systems in the work area.
(3)
Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
