A. Do the Test of the EMERGENCY CALL from the cockpit.

1. On the CALLS panel 21VU in the cockpit: - push the EMER pushbutton. On the CALLS panel 21VU in the cockpit:- the integral light of the EMERpushbutton comes on.
Through the loudspeakers at all passenger seats, in all lavatories and at all attendant stations:
- a HI-LO chime sounds three times.
On all Area Call Panels (ACPs): - the pink indicators flash.
On all Attendant Indication Panels
(AIPs): - the message CALL EMERGENCY flashes. - the pink indicator flashes.
On the audio control panel in the cockpit: - the ATT indicator flashes.
2. On the audio control panel in the cockpit: On the CALLS panel 21VU in the cockpit:
- push the RESET pushbutton. - the integral light of the EMER pushbutton goes off.
On the audio control panel in the cockpit: - the ATT indicator goes off.
3. At the FWD ATT station: On the FWD AIP:
- lift the handset from the cradle. - the message > EMERGENCY comes on.
- the pink indicator goes off.

4. On the audio control panel in the cockpit:
-
push the CAB pushbutton switch.
-
push the CAB rotary knob.
-turn the CAB rotary knob fully cw.
-push and hold the INT/RAD switch to the RAD position.
5. Through the handset at the FWD ATT station and through the cockpit boomset:
-do an announcement.
6. At the MID ATT station:
-lift the handset from the
cradle.
7. Through the handsets at the FWD and MID ATT station and the cockpit boomset:
-do an announcement.
8. At the FWD ATT station:
-put the handset back into its cradle.
9. Through the handset at the MID ATT station and the cockpit boomset:
-do an announcement.
On the audio control panel in thecockpit:
-
the CAB pushbutton-switch integral light comes on.
-
the CAB rotary-knob integral light comes on.
Through the handset at the FWD ATTstation and through the cockpitboomset:
-
the announcement is heard.On the MID AIP:
-
the message > EMERGENCY comes on,
-
the pink indicator goes off.
Through the handsets at the FWD and MIDATT station and the cockpit boomset:
-
the announcement is heard.On the FWD AIP:
-
the message > EMERGENCY goes off.
Through the handset at the MID ATTstation and the cockpit boomset:
-
the announcement is still heard.

10. At the EXIT ATT station:
-lift the handset from the cradle.
