Subtask 23-73-21-420-050
A. Installation of the On Board Replaceable Module (OBRM)
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Push the OBRM (4) carefully into the OBRM-Slot (5) until it locks in position.
NOTE : Make sure that you push the OBRM (4) into the OBRM-Slot (5)
____ and not into the CAM-Slot or PRAM-Slot. The three slots have the same dimensions.
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(5) Close the cover (2) and close the quick-release fastener (1).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 150RH, 151RH, 156RH, 157RH, 170RH, 171RH.

C. OBRM - Software Configuration Test, Interface and Power-Up Test
(1) On the FAP push the SW LOAD key.

the light in the SW LOAD key comes on.
-
the SOFTWARE LOADING page with an activated message box WAIT UNTIL ALL CIDS COMPONENTS HAVE SENT THEIR CONFIGURATION comes on.
-wait approx. 2 minutes, then the message box goes out of view.

(2) If on the SOFTWARE LOADING page one or more components show with an amber background:
-do the OBRM - Download Procedure (Ref. TASK 23-73-00-869-001) NOTE : If no component with an amber background shows on the SOFTWARE
____ LOADING page, no OBRM software download is required.
NOTE : Ignore the message CHANGE CAM NOW IF NECESSARY.

(3) Do the interface and power-up test of the CIDS (Ref. TASK 23-73-00-740-010)
