On the MID ATTND handset:
- a dial tone is heard.
On the MID AIP 322RH:
- the number symbol comes on.
- push the PA AFT pushbutton switch. - the number symbol goes off.
- the message PA 2 comes on.
On the MID ATTND handset:
- the dial tone stops.
On the FWD and AFT AIPs 320RH and the EXIT AIP 322RH:
- the message PA 2 IN USE comes on.
In the AFT cabin area, the AFT lavatories and at the EXIT and AFT ATTND stations:
- push and hold the PTT and do an announcement. - a LO-HI-LO tone is heard.
- the announcement is heard through the loudspeakers.
In the cockpit:
- the announcement is heard through the handset and the loudspeaker.
- put the handset back into its cradle. All indications are cancelled.
5. At the EXIT ATTND station: On the EXIT ATTND handset:
- lift the handset from the cradle. - a dial tone is heard.
