6. Component Description_____________________
R A. Cameras
R Camera 1 has a 105 degree lens and cameras 2 and 3 can have a 70, 90 or
R 120 degree lenses (as required).
R B. LCD
R On the front of the LCD there is one green and one white LED, and two
R rotary knobs.
R The two rotary knobs are used to manually set/adjust the screen
R brightness and contrast.
R The green LED shows the status of the LCD:
R - Green LED is on, shows that the system is on
R - Green LED is off, shows that the system is off
R - Green LED is flashing, shows that a failure has occured in the system.
R The white LED is a light sensor which automatically controls the
R brightness of the pictures on the LCD screen.
7. Operation/Control and Indicating________________________________
R Push the CKPT DOOR VIDEO switch (17RA) on the overhead panel 27VU to start
R the CDSS. The images from camera 1 show on the LCD screen (full screen).
R On the pedestal-panel 119VU, push the VIDEO pushbutton (16RA) to change the
R image on the LCD from camera 1 to camera 2 and 3 (split screen) and to the
R images of camera 2 and 3 again.
