Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Make sure that the parking brake is locked.
(3)
Make sure that the aircraft is in the ground configuration.

(4) Make sure that the engines are stopped.
(5) On the maintenance panel50VU, connect a 600 ohms headset to the CVR/HEAD SET connector.

- Push the RCDR/GND CTL pushbutton switch. - On the pushbutton switch, the ONlegend comes on. Make sure that you can hear the conversations from the CVR microphone in the headset.
- Push the RCDR/GND CTL On the panel 21VU:

B. Test of the Power Supply of the CVR through the engines
R WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT YOU OPEN THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS AS FOLLOWS:
_______ R - 1JH, 2JH1 AND 3JH1 BEFORE 2KS1 R - 1JH, 2JH2 AND 3JH2 BEFORE 2KS2. R IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS SEQUENCE, THERE IS A RISK OF R ELECTROCUTION. THIS IS BECAUSE YOU WILL START CONTINUOUS R IGNITION IF YOU OPEN CIRCUIT BREAKER 2KS1 OR 2KS2 FIRST.

1. Make sure that you cannot hear the audio input in the headset.

On the panel 121VU: R - Open the circuit breakers 2JH1, R 3JH1, 2JH2 and 3JH2.

On the panel 49VU: R - Open the circuit breaker 1JH R then circuit breakers 2KS1 and R 2KS2.
4. On the panel 121VU:
R - Open the circuit breakers 4KS1 R and 4KS2. R
5. On the panels 49VU and 121VU:
-Close the circuit breakers
2KS1, 2KS2, 4KS1 and 4KS2, and R then close the circuit breakers R 1JH, 2JH1, 3JH1, 2JH2 and 3JH2.
In the headset, make sure that you can hear the conversations from the CVR microphone.

-Start the chronometer. Make sure that you can hear the conversations from the CVR microphone in the headset for 5 minutes. Then the audio input stops.
