A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3) Make sure that a minimum of one cabin door is open.

A. Deactivation of the affected CIDS director 1 (2) 101RH (102RH).
(1)
Open safety and tag these circuit breakers:
On the C/B panel 49VU:
-150RH COM/CIDS/DIR 1 AND 2/ESS.
On the C/B panel 121VU:
-151RH COM NAV/CIDS/DIR 1 AND 2/NORM.
(2)
Remove the related CIDS director 1 (2) 101RH (102RH) (Ref. TASK 23-73-34-000-001).

(3)
Close these circuit breakers:
On the C/B panel 121VU:
-151RH COM NAV/CIDS/DIR 1 AND 2/NORM.
On the C/B panel 49VU:
-150RH COM/CIDS/DIR 1 AND 2/ESS.
(4)
On the Programming and Test Panel (PTP) 110RH:
-make sure that on the SYS STATUS page the message CIDS OK comes on.
(5)
Make an entry in the LOG BOOK.
(6)
Close the access door to the avionics compartment.

Open safety and tag these circuit breakers for deactivation of the Smoke Detection Function (SDF) of the CIDS: On the C/B panel 49VU:
-15WH AIR COND/CIDS/SDF/DIR 1/ESS. On the C/B panel 122VU:
-17WH CIDS SDF/DIR 1/NORM.
(b)
Open safety and tag these circuit breakers for deactivation of the normal functions of the CIDS: On the C/B panel 49VU:
-150RH COM/CIDS/DIR 1/ESS.
On the C/B panel 121VU:
-151RH COM NAV/CIDS/DIR 1/NORM.
(2)
On the ECAM control panel:
-push the STS key to get to the STATUS page, INOP SYS section.
(3)
On the STATUS page, INOP SYS section of the lower ECAM display unit:
-the maintenance status DIR shows.

On the C/B panel 121VU:
-156RH COM NAV/CIDS/DIR 2/NORM.

On the Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH:
-
the CAUT button comes on.
-
the message CHECK ATTENDANT AND PAX RELATED FUNCTIONS shows.
(6)
On the STATUS page, INOP SYS section of the lower ECAM display unit:
-the maintenance status CIDS 1+2 shows.
(7)
On the upper ECAM display unit:
-the message COM CIDS 1+2 FAULT shows.
(8)
Make an entry in the LOG BOOK.
