A. DESCRIPTION (END)
c. Abnormal/emergency operation phase :
Knowing now how to handle the aircraft in normal situations, the trainees are invited to
study the aircraft in abnormal/emergency operations, experiencing several failure cases.
The objective is to apply the abnormal/emergency procedures with respect of task
sharing and crew coordination.
Sessions are scheduled in FBS to study the procedures and in FFS to practice aircraft
handling. The last FFS session is a maneuver check to evaluate knowledge and skills in
normal / abnormal operations (1st step of the Skill test)
d. LOFT (Line Oriented Flight Training) phase
The aim of the LOFT sessions exercise is to give trainees experience in operating the
aircraft in real time flying scenarios

The last session is a LOE (Line Oriented Evaluation) FFS (2nd step of the Skill test)

B. INSTUCTOR BRIEFING
The instructor will make a briefing whose duration is stated in the table below within a
reasonnable time frame before each FBS and FFS session :

Except during the Ground phase(2), a debriefing is to be done after each FBS and FFS
session. Duration of the debriefing is left at instructor’s discretion according to Trainees’
performance.

(2) No debriefing required except on students and/or instructor request
The instructors are advised to use all available tools that can support the learning process
significantly i. e. FMGS trainer, ACRM briefings and others. They must brief the Trainees
before the first session of the Normal phase to prepare the session using the FCOM and
FCTM (Take-off data and flight plan if necessary)
04 - CRITERIA OF PROFICIENCY
A. CBT
a. Test :
On completion of this phase, a multiple choice test will be completed. The minimum
level required, to be declared proficient, is determined by the Airline (usually between
70% and 80%)
b. Unsatisfactory test :
Corrective action using the CBT will be determined by the instructor in coordination with
Airbus Industrie Training Director. The student will then undertake another test.

04 - CRITERIA OF PROFICIENCY (END)
B. FBS AND FFS NOTATIONS
The procedure to assess the Trainees is defined in the ADOPT specific booklet provided
during the Instructor ADOPT training. The Trainee’s file includes :
- 1 grade sheet per session
- 1 summary sheet
- 1 ACRM follow up
