4) Open baggage compartment door 219 and remove compartment bottom door 242.
5) Cut and discard the tie-wraps and disconnect connector (15).
6) Hold B35 pitch servo actuator (14), remove bolts (8) and washers (7).
7) Remove B35 pitch servo actuator (14). Install a blanking plug on the connector.
8) If B35 pitch servo actuator (14) must be replaced, remove and retain screws (17), discard captive nuts (16).
2. INSTALLATION OF B35 PITCH SERVO ACTUATOR (Figure 401)
WARNING : SERVO ACTUATORS OF DIFFERENT CHAINS ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE, CHECK PART NUMBER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
A. Tools and consumable material - Loctite (TB 08-013C)
B. Procedure
1) If B35 pitch servo actuator (14) is replaced, install new captive nuts (16) and secure them with the screws (17).
NOTE : Apply a thin layer of Loctite (TB 08-013C) on the screw threads during installation.
2) Install B35 pitch servo actuator (14) and secure it with bolts (8) and washers (7).
3) Remove the blanking plug, connect the connector (15) and secure the cable with tie-wraps.
4) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris.
5) Install compartment bottom door 242 and close baggage compartment door 219.
6) Remove the controls immobilization tool from pilot's control wheel.
7) Close "AP CMPTR" and "AP SERVOS" circuit breakers.
8) Perform the tests specified in HONEYWELL Installation and Maintenance Manual, P/N 006-00776-0000 Paragraph 6 section "KFC 225 Maintenance Matrix".
3. REMOVAL OF THE MOUNTING PLATE (Figures 401 and 402)
A. Tools and consumable materials
- Immobilization tool P/N T700A2799000009
- Cable clamps P/N T700A2799000008
B. Procedure
1) Remove B35 pitch servo actuator (14) — refer to Paragraph 1.
2) Remove bolt (5), washer (4) and guard (3).
3) Remove nut (22), washer (23) and guard (24). Install the washer and the nut to maintain the pulley (26) in position.
4) Remove both locking pins (28).
5) Install the cable clamp (32) as close as possible to pulley (25).
6) Install controls immobilization tool (31) and loosen turnbuckle barrel (21) fully. Keep the turnbuckle barrel.
7) Release cable assembly (27) from drive capstan (13), wind it up and protect it.
8) Remove and discard nuts (1), remove bolts (10), washers (2) and (9).
9) Remove mounting plate (12) and spacer (6).
4. INSTALLATION OF THE MOUNTING PLATE (Figures 401 and 402)
WARNING : PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF A NEW MOUNTING PLATE, CHECK THE CLUTCH FRICTION TORQUE — REFER TO 22-12-00.

- Loctite (TB 08-935)
B. Procedure
1) Make sure the control immobilization tool of the pilot's control wheel is in correct position.
