. "UP" : Check that the control wheel tends to move back (help it if necessary) with respect to the instrument panel.
. "DN" : Check that the control wheel tends to move forward (help it if necessary) to instrument panel.
— Should the control wheel move frankly without any help, check that it is possible to override manually the autopilot action :
"UP" : It must be possible to push back the control wheel. "DN" : It must be possible to pull the control wheel.

. "UP" : The control wheel moves back from the instrument panel, then after about three seconds, the trim control wheel turns rearward (it is necessary to help with the elevator).
. "DN" : The control wheel moves forward to the instrument panel, then after about three seconds, the trim control wheel turns forward.

AUTOPILOT
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1. GENERAL (Figure 1)
The optional autopilot allows the control with regard to roll axis. The autopilot consists of :
- an A82 flight computer,
- a B36 roll servo-actuator,
- an AUTOPILOT MASTER switch,
I - a buzzer.
The autopilot system also uses information from :
- the attitude director indicator (ADI 1) - refer to 34-24-00,
- the heading reference system - refer to 34-21-00,
The information comes from either a directional gyro indicator (KG 107) or from an optional compass system (KCS 55A).
- the marker system - refer to 34-31-00,
- the VOR / LOC navigation system - refer to 34-51-00. The system also uses the radio installation cooling fan.
The autopilot is electrically supplied by "BUS 2" bar, which electrically supplies a specific autopilot "BJ6" bus bar.
