F. Removal of the pitch trim servo—actuator (Figure 203)
1) Open the "TRIM" circuit breaker.
2) Remove the access door of the baggage compartment bottom 242.
3) Disconnect the connector (11).
4) Place a cable clamp (2) P/N T700A2799000008 — see 20-00-07, rearward of the bracket (1) at frame
C6, as near as possible from pulleys.
5) Place a cable clamp (9) P/N T700A2799000008 — see 20-00-07, forward of the pitch trim actuator, as
near as possible from the spool (10).
6) Remove the 2 screws (14), retain the cable—guide (13).
7) Unscrew the 2 bolts (3), retain pulleys (5) and washers (4).
8) Hold the servo—actuator (12) and retain bolts (6), washers (7), discard nuts (8).
9) Remove the servo—actuator on the work bench.
G. Installation of the pitch trim servo—actuator (Figure 203)
NOTE : Before installation, check for the good condition of cables and pulleys — see 20-00-07
1) Position the servo—actuator (12).
2) Secure the servo—actuator (12) with bolts (6), washers (7) and new nuts (8).
3) Position pulleys (5) by routing the cable in pulley groove.
4) Secure pulleys (5) with bolts (3) and washers (4).
5) Secure the cable—guide (13) with 2 screws (14).
6) Remove both cable clamps at frame 6 and to the pitch trim actuator spool.
7) Connect the connector (11).
8) Install the access door of the baggage compartment bottom 242.
9) Close "TRIM" circuit breaker.
