A. Tool and consumable materials
- Immobilization tool P/N T700A2799000009
- Loctite (TB 08-935)
B. Procedure
1) Make sure the controls immobilization tool of the pilot's control wheel is in correct position.
2) Check cable assembly (16) for condition — refer to 20-00-07.
3) Install mounting plate (9) on support (3), and attach it with bolts (4), washers (10) and new nuts (11).
4) Screw turnbuckle barrel (19) onto threaded end (18) to ensure grip over two threads.
5) Put the drive capstan (8) with stud (20) housing directed upwards.
6) Wind up drive capstan (8) — refer to Detail C. Tighten the cable manually and make sure it is in correct position in the drive capstan grooves.
7) Connect cable assembly (16) to turnbuckle barrel (19) ensuring the same thread grip as for threaded end (18). Install immobilization tool (21) and screw the turnbuckle barrel until you slightly tighten the cable.
8) Remove the controls immobilization tool from pilot's control wheel.
9) Deflect the aileron control and check that the cable assembly (16) remains in correct position on drive capstan (8).
10) Check screw (5) and washer (6) for condition. Replace them if necessary.
CAUTION : WHEN INSTALLING GUARD (7), MAKE SURE THE LUGS ENGAGE CORRECTLY IN THEIR HOUSING. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN DAMAGE THE GUARD.

11) Apply loctite TB 08-935 on screw (5) thread. Install guard (7), washer (6) and screw (5).
NOTE : The guard can be in various angular positions. Make sure it is not against the cable strands.
12) Install B36 roll servo actuator (12) — refer to Paragraph 2.
13) Adjust the tension of cable assembly (16) — refer to Page 501.
14) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris.
15) Install the cowling under hull 218F.
16) Close "AP CMPTR" and "AP SERVOS" circuit breakers.
17) Refer to HONEYWELL Installation and Maintenance Manual, P/N 006-00776-0000 at Amendment D or above. Perform the tests specified in Paragraph 6 section "KFC 225 MAINTENANCE MATRIX".
