B36 ROLL SERVO ACTUATOR
ADJUSTMENT / TEST
1. CABLE TENSION ADJUSTMENT (Figure 501)
A. Tools and consumable materials
- Tensiometer P/N Z0O.N6068707229
- Immobilization tool P/N T700A2799000009
B. Procedure
1) Make sure that the main switch-breaker is open.
2) Install the warning sign prohibiting main switch-breaker operation.

3) Open "AP CMPTR" and "AP SERVOS" circuit breakers located on the circuit breaker panel.
4) Remove the cowling under hull 218F.
5) Remove and discard locking pins (1).
6) Set the aileron control to neutral position.
7) With the tensiometer, make sure that cable tension is 20 ± 5 lbs (88.9 ± 22.2 N).
NOTE : Check cable tension between drive capstan and aileron tube on the aircraft symmetry
axis side.
8) If cable tension is incorrect, perform following operations :
a) Position immobilization tool (4) and screw or unscrew turnbuckle barrel (2) to modify cable tension.
b) Set the aileron control successively to full left, full right and then to neutral position.
c) Check cable tension and repeat steps a) thru c) until you obtain the correct tension.
9) Install new locking pins (1) on the turnbuckle barrel.
10) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris.
11) Install cowling under hull 218F.
12) Close "AP CMPTR" and "AP SERVOS" circuit breakers.
13) Remove the warning sign prohibiting main switch-breaker operation.

B35 PITCH SERVO ACTUATOR
REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
1. REMOVAL OF B35 PITCH SERVO ACTUATOR (Figure 401)
NOTE : The removal of B35 pitch servo actuator alone does not require the removal of the mounting plate.
A. Tools and consumable material
- Blanking plug
B. Procedure
1) Make sure that the main switch-breaker is open.
2) Open "AP CMPTR" and "AP SERVOS" circuit breakers located on the circuit breaker panel.
3) Install the controls immobilization tool on the pilot's control wheel.
