Remove the stops from the aft end of the module 1 (View B, Fig. 401).

 Manually move the modules fully aft in the compartment.

 Remove the bearing blocks (2, 3) from the forward end of the drive screw (4).

 (12)
 Lift the forward end of the drive screw (4) from the trough and pull the screw out from under the modules.

 NOTE: The drive screw (4) is flexible.

 (1)  
Move the modules fully aft in the compartment.

Open the access door in the aft bulkhead of module 3.

Move the drive screw (4) under the modules.

Install the bearing blocks (2, 3) at the forward end of the drive screw (4) with the bolts (1).

Move the modules fully forward in the compartment.

Install the bearing block (5) at the aft end of the drive screw (4) with the bolts (6) and washers (7).

Install the ball lockpins (8) to connect module 3 to the drive screw (4).

Install the power drive unit (rotary actuator) (Ref 25-51-01).

Close the access door on the aft bulkhead of module 3.
