1. General

A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is the removal of the cargo loader drive motor (rotary actuator) from the forward cargo compartment cargo loader. The second task is the installation of the cargo loader drive motor (rotary actuator) from the forward cargo compartment cargo loader.

(1) Open these circuit breakers on the APU/External power panel, P34, and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
34A6, FWD CARGO LOADER CONT
(b)
34B14, FWD CARGO LOADER DRIVE

Open the access door on module 3.

(3)
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the drive motor (4).

(4)
Remove the bolts (1) that hold the drive motor (4) to the motor mount.
(5)
Remove the drive motor (4).

1 MAKE SURE THE SET SCREW IS IN THE UP
2 MAKE SURE THE DRIVE SCREW SHAFT EXTENDS POSITION AND THE LOAD ARM POINTS AFT. A MINIMUM OF 0.727 INCH MORE THAN THE THIS MAKES SURE THERE IS NO SYSTEM MOTOR MOUNT. THIS MAKES SURE THERE IS INTERFERENCE SUFFICIENT SPLINE ENGAGEMENT BETWEEN THE DRIVE SCREW SHAFT AND THE DRIVE MOTOR
