Put the slide pin into the upper track.

Put the upper and lower hinge pins into the pivot points.

Close the door to make sure that the door latches and locks correctly.

Make sure there is a clearance between the bottom of the door and the threshold as shown in Fig. 401. If the clearance is not corrected, do the steps that follow:
(a) Lift the lower hinge pin up.

(b) Add the washers below the hinge pin to get the clearance shown in Fig. 401.
NOTE:____ If you add too many washers, the top of the door will touch the lavatory header.
(c) Lower the hinge pin.
NOTE:____ Make sure all the washers are on the hinge pin.
(d) Make sure the clearance is as shown in Fig. 401.
