A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a warning notice is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

C. Installation of the Fan Cowl Door Latches
(1) Install the latch (40) on the left fan cowl door. Attach the latch
(40) to the latch housing (15) with the bolt (5), the bushings (10), (35), the washer (30) and the nut (25).
(2) TORQUE the nut (25) to between 60 and 84 lbf.in (0.67 and 0.94 m.daN) R and install a new cotter pin (20).
(3) Put the housing unit (60) in position on the keeper housing (45) on the right fan cowl door. Attach the housing unit (60) to the keeper housing (45) with the screws (70), the washers (55) and the nuts (50).
(4) TORQUE the nuts (30) to between 20 and 25 lbf.in (0.22 and 0.28 m.daN).
(5) Install the clevis (65) in the housing unit (60).
