E. Inspection of the RAT
(1) Do a check of the RAT filter:
(a) Examine the clogging indicator of the RAT filter element: 1 If the clogging indicator of the RAT filter element is out,
_ replace the RAT at the next A-check (Ref. TASK 29-22-51-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 29-22-51-400-001).
(2) Do a check of the blade angle position.
(a) Make sure that the indicator marks on the hub align with the mark on the blade roots.

(1) Retract the RAT (Ref. TASK 29-22-00-869-002).

- on the overhead panel 40VU, set the PTU pushbutton switch in the OFF position and make sure that the OFF legend comes on.

Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3)
On the ECAM control panel, push the HYD key (on the SD, the HYD page comes into view).
