(2)
Make sure that the slat flap control lever on the center pedestal is in the 0 position.
(3)
Make sure that the speed-brake control lever on the center pedestal is in the RET position.
(4)
Make sure that the two side stick controllers are in the neutral position and that there is no priority on them.
(5)
Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-002).

(6)
Extend and retract the spoilers (Ref. TASK 27-64-00-710-001). NOTE : Operate only the spoilers and ignore the specific test
____ procedure of the system which is described in the referenced task.
(7)
Move one of the two side stick controllers not less than five times to the left and then to the right position to operate the ailerons.
(8)
Pull and push the side stick controller not less than five times to operate the elevators.
(9)
Put the side stick controller to the neutral position.
(10)
Push the left rudder pedal (on one of the two rudder pedal pairs) and then the right rudder pedal not less than five times fully forward to operate the rudder.
(11)
Put the rudder pedals to the neutral position.
(12)
Turn the pitch-trim control wheel to the nose-down and then to the nose-up position to operate the trimmable horizontal stabilizer.
(13)
Turn the pitch-trim control wheel to the 0 position.
(14)
Extend the flaps fully (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-008).
(15)
Retract the flaps to the 0 position (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
(16)
Open and close the cargo-compartment doors not less than five times (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001) and (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(17)
Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(18)
De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(19)
Do the subsequent steps to make sure that there is no air in the hydraulic system:
(a) Do a check of the fluid level of the Yellow reservoir.
(b) If it is necessary to add fluid: R 1_Depressurize the reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
2_ Keep the reservoir depressurization valve (3087GM) open and fill the reservoir (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-002) or (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(c) Make sure that the air pressure in the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is not less than 50 psi (3.4473 bar). If necessary, pressurize the reservoir (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
R (d) Read the gage of the Yellow reservoir and record the fluid level.
(e) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system. (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
R (f) After 5 minutes, read the gage again and record the fluid level.
R (g) Compare the two levels.
R R (h) If the difference between the two levels is more than 1 liter, do the bleeding procedure again.
R NOTE : Do not do the bleeding procedure more than two times.____
R R R R R R R R (i) If the result is not satisfactory after you do the bleeding two times you must: - do the bleeding procedure of the Yellow hydraulic system upstream of the engine pump (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-870-004) - do the bleeding procedure of the Yellow hydraulic system upstream of the PTU (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-870-005) - do the bleeding procedure of the Yellow hydraulic system upstream of the Yellow E-Pump (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-870-006).
Subtask 29-00-00-870-063
B. Bleeding Procedure of the Yellow Hydraulic System Downstream of the Engine Pump
R R NOTE : The subsequent procedure is necessary after:____ - removal/installation of large hydraulic components - hydraulic fluid low level in the Yellow hydraulic system (loss of the hydraulic system) - high loss of hydraulic fluid.
(1) Do the bleeding procedure of the Yellow hydraulic system upstream of the engine pump (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-870-004).
(2) Do the bleeding procedure of the Yellow hydraulic system upstream of the PTU (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-870-005).
NOTE : When you operate the hydraulic users, look at the ECAM display
____ R between the procedures and do a level check of the reservoir. R Add fluid as necessary.
(3)
Make sure that the slat flap control lever on the center pedestal is in the 0 position.
(4)
Make sure that the speed-brake control lever on the center pedestal is in the RET position.
