six hours to build using Word now take just
minutes to complete,” says Yagaloff.
Since adopting FrameMaker+SGML in 1999,
Gables has increased the quality of its documentation
while dramatically improving
workflow. For example, instead of eight
weeks, the company now produces its largest,
300-page manuals in no more than two.
Moreover, says Yagaloff, “The Gables tech
pubs team now really understands structured
authoring and uses FrameMaker+SGML
very skillfully and effectively. In fact, Gables
is way ahead of its peers on delivering SGML
documents to customers.”
The Structure View and element definitions within FrameMaker+SGML automate the complexities of SGML
and keep authors focused on writing rather than technicalities, while preset styles improve document
accuracy and consistency. Through the Documentum FrameLink application, authors can access all files
stored in the Documentum system from within FrameMaker+SGML, facilitating reuse of document elements.

GENERAL OVERHEAD HANDLING
The first thing to do after all systems in your cockpit are running is to select
the OHL RUN / PAUSE button.
Set it to RUN! The RUN light must illuminate.
This function is implemented because of that the OHL software goes in and
hides systems like PFD and ND displays from Project Magenta. So if you want
check all system running well you must set the OHL to PAUSE.
PAUSE is the default start status of the OHL software.
Now we are ready to work with the overhead.
DARK OVERHEAD IS GOOD!
If no lights are illuminating, everything is OK! That’s the logic of airbus.
So you can take these words in mind:
Light on, something wrong!
An on light is not a fault in every case, but it’s not the way it should be!
ALL WHITE LIGHTS OUT!
This is one of the major key functions in the airbus. A white light tells the
pilot that a system is set to off. In the normal procedure all white lights
should be off.
The on or off light on the button tells only the state of the button, not the
state of the system!
That’s not completely true, if the button is off, the system is off too. If the
button set to on, the system is able to connect the system if its avail. So the
aircraft system self connect system busses and power to the system.
ON LIGHT IS BLUE!

All ON lights are in a blue color. So if a blue light is illuminating on the
overhead, is it been selected manual to this status.
Electric pumps, apu, gpu and other system will show a blue on light when
selected.
TEMPORARY SYSTEMS ARE GREEN!
All systems that only run temporary will illuminate with a green AVAIL light.
FAULT LIGHTS ARE AMBER
All fault lights are shown in an amber color. Only smoke or fire lights are red.

To ensure correct functioning of the decompression panel assembly, the corresponding sandwich panel
and h-profile must be used together. Failure to follow this procedure can cause a change in the geometry
of the assembly, resulting in possible malfunctioning during a decompression event.
