C. Mask fabric
The lustrous feel of Ultra Suede HPC can be maintained by a light brushing with a
medium bristle brush. In the event of a mishap, stains can be removed with detergent. Only when
required use a mild cleaning fluid from your local hardware store.
Everyday Stains: Remove any free matter with knife or spoon. Pat the stained area with
water and mild detergent. Remove detergent solution with a clean cloth and water. Dry on warm
setting with hair dryer or naturally in the air.
Extremely Tough Stains: For severe stains such as automotive grease use a mild solvent.
Moisten a clean cloth with a mild cleaning fluid. Pat the stained area until clean. Blot with a
clean, dry cloth.
D. Shade fabric
Lou Martin easy-glide shade systems utilize a metallized fabric, which is inherently antistatic.
They actually repel dust and seldom require cleaning. An occasional light sweep of a
vacuum is all that should be needed.
In the event of a mishap, Lou Martin easy-glide shades may be cleaned with a mild
detergent and water. However, water spotting can occur. If a detergent is required, we suggest a
mild detergent such as woolite.
NOTE: Do not use ammonia cleaners near the Lou Martin easy-glide shade.
Ammonia cleaners will damage the shade.
