7) Move the SPEEDBRAKE handle from the down and locked position to the ARMED detent position. Verify the above spoiler panel angles read zero.

8) Move SPEEDBRAKE handle from the armed position to the full UP position. Verify the spoiler panel angles are with in their required range:
Spoiler Panels Required Panel Position (degrees) Measured Panel Position (degrees)
1 and 12 27.9o to 30.9o
2 and 11 27.9o to 30.9o
3 and 10 27.9o to 30.9o
5 and 8 18.2o to 21.0o
6 and 7 14.0o to 16.0o
9) Check for any irregularities in speedbrake lever forces. Measure handle force required to move from the ARMED position to the full UP position. Record the handle force values.
10) Move SPEEDBRAKE handle to the armed position. Measure and record handle forces on the way down. The maximum forces should not exceed 6 pounds.
11) De-pressurize the Left, Center and Right Hydraulic Systems
NOTE: If system fails above test, perform the spoiler rigging adjustment check per
AMM 27-61-00.
12) Return the airplane to normal configuration.

2. SAC Installation and Light Check
A. General
This test is required to ensure that the Speedbrake Autostow Controller (SAC)
module test and fault lamps are functioning correctly.
NOTE: Airplane system hydraulics is not required for this test
B. Tool and Equipment Requirements
1) No special tools or equipment required
C. Procedure
1) Make sure the airplane is in this configuration:
a) Electrical power is on (AMM 24-22-00/201). Note: If external power is used, supply external power per AMM 24-22-00/201, S862-
036. Failure to supply power per this procedure will cause the “Autostow Fault” light to illuminate on the SAC module.
b) Verify airplane is in GROUND mode. Landing gear not tilted, air/ground switches not slugged.
2) Verify the following circuit breakers on the P11 circuit breaker panel are closed:
