TASK 27-62-09-000-901
A. General
1) This task gives the maintenance steps which prepare the airplane for flight with the Autostow System inoperative.

C. Procedure
1) Make sure the airplane is in this configuration:
a) Electrical power is on (AMM 24-22-00/201). Note: If external power is used, supply external power per AMM 24-22-00/201, S862-
036. Failure to supply power per this procedure will cause the “Autostow Fault” light to illuminate on the SAC module.
b) Verify airplane is in GROUND mode. Landing gear not tilted, air/ground switches not slugged.
2) Open the following circuit breakers:

P11 AUTO SPEEDBRAKE SYSTEM G11
3) Attach circuit breaker collar to K22 only.
4) Move the speedbrake handle from down and locked position to full up and check that speedbrake lever forces are normal. See Figure 402.
5) Locate the Speedbrake Autostow Controller (SAC) on the E2 rack in the electronics bay. See Figure 408/409. Disconnect the harness connector from the plug connector on the SAC. Locate test connector on adjacent structure forward of the SAC. Remove plug cover and fasten cover to plug connector on SAC. Connect SAC harness connector to test connector. Close the Automatic Ground Speed circuit breaker G11. Check to ensure the ground speed “AUTO SPDBRK” light is off in the flight deck.
6) Attach an appropriate placard showing weight and speed restrictions.
7) Return the airplane to normal configuration.
