At the overhead panel, P5, set the switch for the position lights to the on position. 1) Make sure each switch light comes on. 2) Make sure each position light comes on.
(b)
Set the switch to the off position.
1) Make sure the light in the switch goes off.
2) Make sure each position light goes off.

Lens Inspection
General
A. This procedure contains one task for the forward light lens:

D. Procedure:
(1) Visually inspect the exterior surface of the lens on the left and right Winglet for the following conditions. If any of the listed defects are observed in eighter lens, replace the lens. (Refer to TASK 33-43-01-024-001 of this supplement):
(a)
Cracking – The lens shall not have any cracks.
(b)
Disbonding – There should be no disbanding between the lens and the lens retainer.

Wing Forward Position Navigation Lights
Maintenance Practices
1. General
This procedure describes the replacement of the lamp for the forward navigation light located in the winglet leading edge. This procedure includes instructions for both, a winglet equipped with “Halogen” forward position lights, and a winglet equipped with “LED” forward position lights.
Note: For winglets equipped with “Halogen” lights, the forward position light consists of two (2) lamps, which are accessed by removing the forward position light lens. For winglets equipped with “LED” lights, re-lamping requires the removal and replacement of the LED Module Assembly. Access to the LED Module for replacement is achieved by removing the forward position light lens for front side access, and removing the winglet lower access door for backside connector access.
