5. Override SPEEDBRAKE Handle Forces
A. General
NOTE: Airplane system hydraulics are not required for this test.
B. Tool and Equipment Requirements
1) Force gauge to measure SPEEDBRAKE handle forces
C. Procedure
1) Make sure the airplane is in this configuration:
a) Electrical power is on (AMM 24-22-00/201). Note: If external power is used, supply external power per AMM 24-22-00/201, S862-
036. Failure to supply power per this procedure will cause the “Autostow Fault” light to illuminate on the SAC module.
b) Verify airplane is in GROUND mode. Landing gear not tilted, air/ground switches not slugged.
2) Verify the following circuit breakers on the P11circuit breaker panel are closed:

3) Verify that the following circuit breakers are closed:

4) Place SPEEDBRAKE handle to the full UP position
5) Press and hold the RIGGING test button on the SAC module for one second. Verify the following occur:

the AUTOSTOW actuator will retract
.
the TEST IN PROGRESS light on the SAC module illuminates and remains illuminated
.
amber AUTO SPEED BRAKE EICAS message illuminates and remains illuminated
