Remove the access panel in the winglet lower surface.
WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE LIGHT WITH YOUR BARE HANDS WHEN THE LIGHT IS HOT. INJURY CAN OCCUR IF YOU TOUCH THE LIGHT BEFORE IT BECOMES COOL.
(b)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the light.
(c)
Remove the forward navigation light lens by removing 14 screws [1].
(d)
Remove the LED Module by removing 4 screws [5].
(e)
Install a new LED Module and secure with 4 screws [5].
(f)
Reinstall the forward position light lens and secure with 14 screws [1]. Torque the fasteners to 10-18 in-lbs
NOTE: Recommended to reapply MS122DF release agent to faying surfaces of lens retainer at each removal
(g)
Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the light.
(h)
Reinstall the winglet access panel.

Do a test of the new LED Module.
(a)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(b)
Close each circuit breaker that was opened and remove each DO-NOT-OPERATE or DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.
(c)
At the P5 panel, set the switch to the on position. Make sure the lights come on correctly.
(d)
Set the switch to the off position. Make sure the lights go off.
(e)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
