Do one of these steps to remove electrical power from the light:
i.
At the overhead panel, P5, set the switch to the off position and attach the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.
ii. Open each applicable circuit breaker on the overhead circuit breaker panel, P11, for the wing forward position light and attach the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

Do these steps to replace the lamp: (Note, do not touch the new lamp with your hands, use gloves)

(a) Remove the forward navigation light lens assembly from the inboard leading edge of the winglet, by removing 14 screws [1]. See Figure 201.

Loosen the fasteners [2] and remove the reflector assembly [3]. See Figure 202.
(c)
Replace the lamp [4].
(d)
Install the reflector assembly [3] and tighten the fasteners [2].
(e)
To replace the second lamp, repeat steps (b) through (d).
(f)
Reinstall the forward navigation light lens assembly and secure with 14 screws [1]. Torque the fasteners to 10-18 in-lbs
NOTE: Recommended to reapply MS122DF release agent to faying surfaces of lens retainer at each removal

(3) Do a test of the position lights.

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(b)
Close each circuit breaker that was opened and remove each DO-NOT-OPERATE or DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.
(c)
At the P5 panel, set the switch to the on position. Make sure the lamps come on correctly.
(d)
Set the switch to the off position. Make sure the lamps go off.
(e)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
