Open the 11M7, ANTI-COLL WHITE circuit breaker on the overhead circuit breaker panel, P11, and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag
WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE STROBE LIGHT FOR 10 MINUTES AFTER REMOVAL OF ELECTRICAL POWER. AN ELECTRICAL SHOCK CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Remove lamp
(a)
Get access to the strobe light.
(b)
Remove the Lens and lens retainer by removing (2) 10-32 screws and the fillet seal around the lens retainer.
(c)
Loosen (2) 2-56 screws securing the reflectors.
(d)
Remove lamp by gently working loose from the lamp holder contacts.
WARNING: THE LAMP IS GLASS AND VERY FRAGILE, USE A CLOTH TO GRIP LAMP TO AVOID INJURY.
CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE DOW CORNING 111 SILICONE COMPOUND IN THE LAMP HOLDER CONTACT AREAS APPLIED TO PREVENT MOISTURE FROM STAYING AROUND THE ELECTRODES. IF IT IS REMOVED, APPLY DOW CORNING 111 SILICONE COMPOUNDTO THE LAMP HOLDER CONTACT AREAS

AND TO THE END OF THE LAMP ONLY. DO NOT APPLY THE DOW CORNING 111 SILICONE CONPOUND ON THE PART OF THE LAMP EXPOSED AFTER INSTALLATION.
(3) Install new lamp.
(a) Coat lamp electrodes with a small amount of dielectric grease. Dow
Corning 111 Silicon compound recommended.
WARNING: DO NOT APPLY DOW CORNING 111 SILICONE CONPOUND ONTO THE LAMP’S GLASS.
(b) Insert new lamp into lamp contacts.
CAUTION: ASSURE LAMP ELECTRODES ARE SECURED BETWEEN THE CONTACTS HALVES. MISALIGNMENT MAY LEAD TO REDUCED LAMP LIFE & STROBE LIGHT DAMAGE.
CAUTION: ASSURE ANODE ELECTRODE (INDICATED BY RED DOT) IS POSITIONED PER THE ARROW ON THE INFORMATION PLATE. SEE FIGURE 201.

Tighten (2) 2-56 screws.
(d)
Clean lens and reflector surfaces with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
(e)
Install lens and lens retainer assembly.
(f)
Install the lens & lens retainer by installing (2) 10-32 screws. Torque fasteners to 20 – 25 in-lbs.
(g)
Apply a fillet seal around lens retainer perimeter using BMS5-95 or BMS5-142.
(4)
Restore power by reversing step (1):
(a)
At the overhead panel, P5, set the switch to the on position and remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.
(b)
Close the 11M7, ANTI-COLL WHITE circuit breaker on the overhead circuit breaker panel, P11, and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.
