3-30-4 Jack Point Locations
1.  
The jack point locations are shown in Figure 3-30. You can use the three primary jack points A, B and C (see Figure 3-31) to lift the airplane when the clearance (roll-under height) is sufficient. You can also use these points if the terrain conditions are satisfactory.

These primary points are permanent fittings with a female 1.25-inch (32 mm) spherical radius that attach to the airplane structure (see Figure 3-31). There is one auxiliary point D which is a temporary fittings with a male 0.75-inch (19 mm) spherical radius that you can attach to the airplane structure with bolts (see Figure 3-31).

The bogie (truck) beam of the main landing gear has two points for axle jacks. These points are on the centerline of the truck beam. There are 46 inches (114.3 cm) between the two primary jack points located on each end of the gear truck. These two jack points are pads with a male 0.75-inch (19 mm) spherical radius with the two primary points permanent parts of the truck beam (see Figure 3-32).

There is a point for axle jacks on the nose landing gear. This jack point is on the axle centerline of the gear. The jack point is a pad with a male 0.75-inch (19 mm) spherical radius that is a permanent part of the nose gear (see Figure 3-33).

The maximum loads for the jack points (primary, auxiliary and axle) are shown in Figure 3-34 through Figure 3-37. Make sure the jack loads are not larger than the values shown in the table.
